I did!! I have not actually watched the video yet (I am told there is video though) because I haven’t had the time to set aside to do all of the flailing I will inevitably need to do, but I have seen a bunch of the pictures and seen quotes from the event.
I am super excited to get to watch! The fact that Robin was there fills my heart with joy. (And I realize it was Simon’s day, but the fact that he was talking about working with HER for a change and not the other way around? Yeah, that’s awesome.)
What I wouldn’t give to have the two of them do a joint interview/talk show bit at some point. WHY HAS THIS NOT HAPPENED YET UNIVERSE? (I mean, other than the 2009 Paley Fest panel, which was basically the Simon and Robin variety hour.)

why do I love Simon Baker:
because when asked a question with the potential to have a really deep answer, he opts out and says “tired.” (Unless of course he really thought about it and decided tired was more of an all-encompassing answer)
because he doesn’t hesitate when he says he splurges on his hobby
because he doesn’t hesitate when he says ice cream is his favorite food
because he wants someone to alert his wife that he’s a sex symbol
because his wife “treats him like furniture”
because she’s not jealous BECAUSE SHE IS A BOSS WOMAN and he married a boss
because he’s still married to this woman omg
because he teaches acting just by explaining how he does it
because he has regrets but they’re all smaller ones.
